RCA Reel to Reel MachineThis American made RCA reel to reel machine was manufactured in the 1950’s and was sent from Romania for a complete rebuild. Some of the mechanical parts had to be remanufactured, most of the electronic parts were replaced with modern equivalents but the one part that was needed and had to be an original replacement was the record/playback head. Eventually, and after a lot of sleuthing, we tracked a brand new one down in Brazil of all places! The machine is now back in Romania where it is part of a 1950’s period recording studio. |
