Ferrograph Logic

This Ferrograph was commissioned by the Imperial Warr Museum for archiving work.
The machine is based on an SP7 which in turn is a modified Logic for studio and editing uses.
This machine is for playback only and has two playback heads, one for playing 1/4 track tapes and one for 1/2 track heads.
To the left of the 1/2 track head is a felt guide for cleaning the tape.
The red screwdriver on the left is to adjust the heads if the tape being played is out of alignment.
The IWM weren’t particularly worried about the cosmetics as it’s a workhorse.
